Highlights: College of Social and Behavioral Science
CSBS has brought in $18+ million during the Together We ReachCampaign and plans to reach $19 million by campaign's end. Highlights are as follows:
- $2.5 million for the Francis Wormouth Presidential Endowed Chair in Political Science (gift from Stan Katz)
- $1. 2 million for the Wayne Owens Endowed Chair in Middle East Politics administered through the Hinckley Institute
- $1 million from Sam and Ruth Rich for the Sam Rich Lecture Series (administered through the Hinckley Institute)
- $2.5 million in scholarship endowments for CSBS students including:
- Earl and Elies Skidmore endowment - $600,000
- Herbert Gustavson endowment - $550,000
- Betty Gladd scholarships for political science - $500,000
- Dorothy Watkiss endowment - $200,000
- Oakley S. Gordon endowment - $120,000
- Brent and Sue Scott Family endowment - $100,000
- Ezekiel and Katherine Dumke endowment - $100,000
- Parry Mead-Murray endowment - $100,000
- Vico and Pat Henriques endowment - $100,000
- Irv and Gloria Altman Family outstanding psychology faculty award - $125,000
